Known Issues

1. For Kindle book projects, selecting "Open With . . . Web Browser" on the Make Files Tab will instead open your Kindle upload file using your installed html-editing software program (e.g. Dreamweaver, Expression Web, Notepad++) if you have set the default file association for .html files to your html editing program.

2. Some Windows 10 users have reported that after what appears to be a successful installation, the application fails to open the Main (9-tab) Form of the program after clicking the "start" button on the initial "splash" screen. Try the following:

(1) Uninstall by right-clicking on the application in the list of Start Menu programs and select "Uninstall."
(2) Restart your computer.
(3) Remove any residual files that may or may not remain: Delete the "Author & Publisher Manuscript Maker folder in the Program Files folder. Delete the "Manuscript Maker" subfolder in the "$ProgramData" folder.
(4) Reinstall by running the mm30setup.exe installation file again and restart the application from the desktop shortcut.

If the above steps still fail to permit the application to run properly, do the following:

(1) Restart your computer.
(2) Right-click on the desktop shortcut to the application and select "Properties."
(3) From the "Compatibility" Tab, check the box "Run this program as an administrator."
(4) Restart the application from the desktop shortcut.

The above steps have solved this issue in most cases.
